Hair transplantation, hair transplantation for extensive Norwood V hair loss. In the 1st FUT strip harvesting technique surgery, 2105 grafts were transplanted to replace the anterior area. In the second surgery, 1750 FU grafts were used to cover the posterior area. The two surgeries resulted in almost complete hair coverage.
Our patient’s result clearly demonstrates that FUT strip traction surgery is a highly effective procedure and is still considered a state-of-the-art technique today. However, in practice, FUE hair removal procedures with similar effective results have been preferred because they allow a more optimal use of the donor site, no linear scar at the donor site and the point scars of FUE hair removal are not visible even in short hair.
